MUGLA - An A320 passenger plane of British MyTravel (MYT) Airways ran off the runway last night at Dalaman Airport, said Mehmet Yapici, subgovernor of Dalaman (town in western city of Mugla) on Tuesday.
Yapici stated, ''the plane ran off the runway and hit wire fence on another runway of the international flights terminal before take-off for a flight to Cardiff, England. These two runways are connected to each other but the second one is still under construction. I suppose the pilot might have thought that it was the continuation of the first runway. Nobody was injured. There were minor damages to the plane.''
''After technical team controlled the plane, it flew to Cardiff,'' added Yapici.
