ANKARA - Confederation of Public Workers Trade Unions (KESK) member civil servants started on Saturday sit-in protest when they were not allowed to enter Kizilay square.
Civil servants who came from Istanbul road to enter Ankara were stopped near Sasmaz region. They started a sit-in protest when they were not allowed to release statement in Kizilay district.
Traffic jam was seen on Istanbul road, Eskisehir road, Konya road and Samsun road due to protests.
Civil servants, who were waiting at Ankara Railway Station, started a sit-in protest in Talat Pasa Boulevard due to the same reason.
Civil servants who wanted to enter Kizilay district from Ziya Gokalp Street started sit-in protest and closed the traffic. Disputes also started between civil servants and security forces.
