ANKARA - Former Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit's health condition has still not changed, Democratic Left Party (DSP) leader Zeki Sezer said on Sunday.
Replying to questions of reporters about Ecevit's condition, Sezer said there was nothing new about Ecevit's condition.
Ecevit, 82, had a stroke on May 18th after attending the funeral of judge Mustafa Yucel Ozbilgin, who was killed in an armed attack against the Council of State HQs in Ankara.
He was taken to the GATA medical center with aphasia and weakness in his right arm and leg. The stroke led to a bleeding in the left side of his brain. A surgery was performed to remove the accumulated blood and reduce the pressure on his brain. Since then he has remained on life support.
