IZMIR - German Ambassador in Ankara Wolf Ruthart Born said on Friday that there would be more foreign capital inflow to Turkey when economic and political stability were installed.
Born and Germany's Consul General in Izmir Ralf Breth met with journalists.
Born said this was his first visit to Izmir, and that he had the opportunity to see three German companies acting in Izmir.
Born said he had positive impressions from the companies which had been established with German capital, noting that he believed there would be more foreign capital inflow when political stability was provided.
Born said around three million German tourists visied Turkey every year, stating that around 2 million 700 Turkish citizens were living in Germany. He said this was very important in development of political, cultural and economic relations. Born said studies were underway for settlement of ''Turkish-German Economic Culture Foundation''.
Replying to the questions of reporters, Born said Germany's sending soldiers to Iraq was out of question at the time being, but that Germany would expend support to rebuilding process of Iraq.
