BURSA - Turkish automotive sector broke a new record as its exports rose by 21 percent to 422.2 million USD in May.
Meanwhile, exports by automotive sector rose by 6 percent to 5.8 billion USD in the January-May period of year.
In the same period of previous year, total exports had been nearly 5.5 billion USD.
The sector exported its products to 179 countries and autonomous regions as well as 13 free trade zones.
