ISTANBUL - Anders Igel, the CEO of Swedish ''TeliaSonera'' company, said on Thursday that they are still interested in Turkey.
A panel discussion on better management and sustainable growth was held in Turkish commercial hub of Istanbul.
Taking the floor in the panel discussion, Igel indicated that TeliaSonera had invested billions of USD in Turkey over the last ten years.
Noting that Turkey had solved its macro-economic problems, Igel said that Turkey had been noticed by European investors.
On the other hand, Swedish Deputy PM Bosse Ringholm said that Turkey was an important trade partner of Sweden, while Swedish Commerce Council Chairman Ulf Berg indicated that bilateral trade volume was up 70 percent in recent years.
