ISTANBUL - Retail prices were up 1.60 percent while wholesale prices rose 2.29 percent in Turkish commercial hub of Istanbul in May 2005, a report prepared by Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO) said.
According to the report, the retail prices were up 11.28 percent, and the increase in wholesale prices was 6.90 percent on a year-on-year basis.
The annual inflation in retail prices was announced as 10.36 percent, and it was calculated as 5.28 percent in wholesale prices.
