DIYARBAKIR - Turkish police seized 125 kilograms of heroin in southeastern city of Diyarbakir on Thursday.
Acting on a tip-off, police followed a lorry en route from eastern city of Van to Diyarbakir, and confiscated the hidden heroin.
Four people were detained in connection with the haul.
Meanwhile, Diyarbakir Police Chief Zeki Catalkaya said that 180 kilograms of heroin, 350 kilograms of hashish and 7,500 ecstasy pills have been seized in 93 operations staged since the beginning of the year.
