ANKARA - Turkey on Wednesday harshly condemned attack in Jerusalem which had taken place on Tuesday night. Turkey said the aim of the attack was to disrupt the Middle East Peace Process that started with implementation of Road Map.
Foreign Ministry issued a statement and said Turkey harshly condemned terrorist attack in Jerusalem, stating that, ''those who were behind this attack could not refrain from the responsibility of the crime they committed.''
The statement said, ''aim of the attack is clear. The aim is disruption of Middle East Peace Process that started again with the implementation of Road Map. It was once again revealed that lives of innocent people had no value for the terrorist organizations.''
The statement pointed out that Middle East was in a difficult turning point, and that all the sides should protect the target for a permanent peace, and advised the sides to refrain from actions that would divert this target.''
