EDIRNE - Gendarme forces captured on Wednesday a total of 44 foreigners, who were trying to proceed to Greece illegally, in northwestern Edirne province.
A total of 43 Afghans, Palestinians and Bangladeshis and their Iraqi guide, who were trying to proceed to Greece illegally, were captured in Mecidiye hamlet of Kesan town of Edirne province.
Meanwhile, a total of six Iraqis and Palestinians, who entered Turkey illegally, were captured in Ipsala and Meric towns of Edirne province.
Foreigners will be deported after legal procedures.
