IFC to Host Bird Flu and Bio-Security Conference in Istanbul

The International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private-sector arm of the World Bank Group, plans to convene a Bird Flu and Bio-Security Conference in Istanbul on 2 June 2006.

The event, scheduled at the Movenpick Hotel, will bring together officials from both the public and private sectors to examine cooperative approaches to combating avian influenza.
