ANKARA - Israeli Deputy PM & FM Tzipi Livni met Yigit Alpogan, the Secretary General of Turkish National Security Council (MGK), in Ankara on Monday.
Livni is visiting Turkey upon invitation of Turkish Deputy PM & FM Abdullah Gul.
Alpogan and Livni debated topics concerning the two countries, as well as regional and international developments.
Before this meeting, Livni visited Anitkabir, the Mausoleum of Ataturk, Founder of Turkish Republic, and observed a minute of silence.
She will meet Gul in MFA HQ later today. A news conference will be held after this meeting.
