ANKARA - Israeli Deputy PM and FM Tzipi Livni arrived in Turkish capital of Ankara early on Monday.
Livni and Turkish FM & Deputy PM Abdullah Gul will hold a joint press conference after their meeting today.
Livni will be received by President Ahmet Necdet Sezer and PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan, while she is expected to have a meeting with National Security Council (MGK) Secretary General Yigit Alpogan.
Israeli FM Livni will discuss regional and international matters concerning the two countries, particularly recent developments in Israeli-Palestinian controversy, as well as Turkish-Israeli relations during her meetings with Turkish executives.
Livni had a luncheon with executives and columnists of some Turkish press in Istanbul yesterday. He visited Neve Shalom Synagogue, had a boat tour on the Bosphorus, and dinner at a restaurant in Florya neighborhood before he flew to Ankara.
