Gul: The United States Will Not Give A Written Answer

ANKARA - Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul said on Tuesday that the United States would not give a written answer to the set of questions that Turkey had sent.
Gul replied questions of reporters prior to his meeting with Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Riaz H. Khokhar.
When asked whether or not they received an answer to the set of questions sent to the United States, Gul said that a written answer would not be given and the issue would be discussed.
John Murtha, the member of the Subcommittee on Defense of U.S. House of Representatives' Committee on Appropriations, had said that NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) Commander Gen. James Jones was in the process of giving an answer and they could convey the answer to Turkish officials today.
While the officials of Ankara Embassy of the United States were confirming this information, they said that the answer would be given by Jones to Chief of General Staff Hilmi Ozkok with a letter.
