ANKARA - Delegations of Turkish and Pakistani foreign ministries took up bilateral relations during the meetings held on Tuesday.
Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Riaz H. Khokhar met with Foreign Ministry Deputy Undersecretary Ali Tuygan within the scope of meetings.
Releasing a speech following the meeting which lasted nearly two hours, Khokhar said that they took up bilateral relations.
Noting that the news claiming that Turkey gave permission to Pakistan for passage to Iraq was baseless, Khokhar said that they had not taken a decision yet regarding sending soldiers to Iraq.
Khokhar, who will meet with National Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul, will also meet with Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul today.
