SAKARYA - A group of persons who are members of the Confederation of Public Sector Trade Unions (KESK) held a protest in front of the building where the cabinet meeting was held.
Speaking in front of the building, Evren said that the problems of Adapazarý had to be solved.
''If decisions are going to be taken about quake survivors during the cabinet meeting today, the cabinet should take the decision of paying back the compulsory savings of public employers who suffered from the quake, immediately,'' Evren said. Demanding the reopening of Agricultural Equipment Institution and Sugar Factory in Adapazarý, Evren also asked the government to announce the increase to be made in the wages of public employees.
