VILNIUS - Ailing Russian oil giant Yukos is Friday to sign a contract to sell its 53.7 percent majority stake in the Lithuanian Mazeikiu Nafta oil complex to Polish company PKN Orlen, a Yukos spokeswoman told AFP.
"The deal is to be signed in Amsterdam. The purchaser is PKN Orlen. The value of the transaction is 1.425 billion dollars (1.1 billion euros)," Yukos spokeswoman Claire Davidson told AFP by phone from New York Thursday.
"We are ready to conclude the agreement on Mazeikiu Nafta," she added.
