GAZIANTEP - Exports of agricultural products from the Southeastern Anatolia Project (GAP) region in the January-July period of 2003 increased 42 percent to 424 million 732 thousand U.S. dollars.
In the same period last year, the region exported agricultural products of 300 million 71 thousand U.S. dollars.
The region exported 290 million 206 thousand U.S. dollars in textiles, 58 million 157 thousand U.S. dollars in grain-cereals and 32 million 494 thousand U.S. dollars in dried fruits.
