ANKARA - Turkey lifted on Wednesday its travel warning on China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan due to SARS disease.
A written Foreign Ministry statement noted that Turkish citizens could go to China, Hong Kong and Taiwan by taking into consideration the recent reports issued by World Health Organization. But the Ministry recommended the citizens to be careful against SARS disease if they were going to the mentioned countries and the region.
Foreign Ministry recommended Turkish citizens not to go to China, Hong Kong and Taiwan due to SARS disease which could result in death of persons in a statement it issued on April 4, 2003.
