ANKARA - Films, which were used in France to promote Turkey, were awarded in the First International Tourism Films Festival.
Releasing a statement, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism stated on Wednesday, ''a total of four films were shot in order to promote Istanbul, Turkey and winter sports facilities. They were awarded by the selection committee of the festival.''
A total of 40 films promoting 12 different countries participated in the festival.
