ANKARA - Turkish-Pakistani defense industry cooperation will be strengthened further, said sources on Sunday.
A delegation headed by Defense Industry Undersecretary Murad Bayar and consisting of representatives from 17 Turkish defense companies will depart for Pakistan on Monday.
The Turkish delegation will visit the Pakistani Ministry of Defense and representatives from the Pakistani defense industry.
Turkish firms such as MKE, Havelsan, BMC and Aselsan are already doing business with Pakistan, said sources.
Defense experts say that Turkey can sell armored vehicles and electronic equipment for Pakistan's Army and Naval Forces.
