ISTANBUL - One person who has been wanted in connection with Wednesday's armed attack on Council of State was hospitalized as he was stabbed, sources said.
Sources told the A.A correspondent on Saturday that Muzaffer T. who had been dismissed from Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) and who has been wanted by the police under the investigation into the armed attack on Council of State judges was taken to Acibadem Hospital in Istanbul as he was stabbed in his chest.
Doctors said that his health condition was not serious.
Police said that Muzaffer T. might have attempted to commit suicide.
The attack occurred in the Council of State Chamber 2 during a committee meeting on Wednesday morning. Four judges were wounded in the attack, while judge Mustafa Yucel Ozbilgin, who was shot in the head, later died in the hospital. The assailant, lawyer Arslan Alparslan from the Istanbul Bar, was detained and taken to the Anti-Terror Department for interrogation.
