-BABACAN MEETS BARROT
BRUSSELS - Turkish State Minister Ali Babacan, who is currently in Brussels, Belgium, met Jacques Barrot, vice-president of the European Commission with responsibility for transport, on Thursday.
Babacan will partake in a dinner later in the day to be hosted by Joaquin Almunia, EU Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs.
He is scheduled to meet EU Commissioner for Enlargement Olli Rehn tomorrow.
Babacan will proceed from Brussels to London the same day to attend the annual meeting of Turkish-British Chamber of Commerce.
