Nasa Symposium Starts In Kemer

KEMER - Symposium of National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) of the United States started in Kemer town of southern province of Antalya on Wednesday with the participation of 150 scientists.
Making opening remark of the symposium, Prof. Dr. Derya Maktav from the Istanbul Technical University (ITU) said that NASA organized such an organization for the first time in its history and expressed their pleasure with hosting it.
Nearly 150 scientists from 30 countries attend the symposium, which will continue till August 16.
Issues such as deforestation in tropical areas, use of fields in mountainous regions, water resources in barren regions and forest fires will be taken up during the symposium.
