TEHRAN - A Turkish construction firm ''Ucgen Insaat ve Ticaret A.S.'' has launched initiatives to build 20 hotels in 20 different cities in Iran.
The first phase of the project was launched in Busahr city while the foundation of the second hotel was laid in Ardabil today.
Speaking to A.A correspondent, the firm's director in Iran Mehmet Tosun Turgay said that Ardabil is an important winter, thermal and health tourism center.
Turgay noted that they will build a four-star hotel on the bank of Shurabil lake in Ardabil, and the hotel will have 100 rooms.
Stating that they also plan to construct a thermal facility in the same region, Turgay said that the four-star hotel will cost about 12 million USD.
