ANKARA - Agriculture and Rural Affairs Minister Sami Guclu received on Wednesday Pakistani Ambassador to Turkey Sher Afgan Khan.
Before the meeting, Guclu told reporters that there were good relations between Turkey and Pakistan and stated that he would have a meeting on further improvement of relations in agriculture field with Afgan Khan.
Recalling that there was an agricultural cooperation protocol between Turkey and Pakistan, Guclu said, ''Pakistani Agriculture Minister was scheduled to visit Turkey in June, but it was postponed. We will have a chance to plan this visit and evaluate relations in agriculture field with Afgan Khan.''
Afgan Khan stressed that Turkey and Pakistan had always friendly relations and stated that there were many cooperation fields between the two countries and that agriculture was one of those fields.
Afgan Khan said that the two countries were developed in agriculture field and added that Turkey and Pakistan could exchange experience on this field and improve agricultural cooperation.
