ANKARA - Ankara police is on the alert against terrorist attacks which escalated after the Reassociation Law took effect.
Ankara Security Directorate Intelligence and Fight Against Terrorism departments sent a warning letter to all units and recalled that armed and bomb attacks had been staged on the State Security Court minibus in Istanbul, police post in Mardin and Judge and Prosecutor Candidates Training Center in Ankara.
Stressing that terrorist organizations were planning to continue staging attacks on state institutions and organizations, particularly police centers, the warning letter said that police officers should be more careful and sensitive and they should take all necessary measures for their safety while fulfilling their duties and mission.
