Rescue Teams Recover Body Of One Worker Trapped Under Debris After Mine Explosion In Erzurum

ASKALE - Rescue teams recovered on Tuesday dead body of one of two workers who were trapped under the debris of Kurkutlu mine which collapsed due to explosion in Askale township of eastern province of Erzurum.
Body of Cetin Aktas (29) who was one of two workers trapped inside the mine after explosion on Friday was recovered.
Efforts are continuing to rescue the other worker, Sinasi Guzel (31).
Seven workers died and 24 workers were injured in the mine explosion at Kurkutlu mine in Askale township of Erzurum on August 8. Bodies of five workers were recovered from the debris on August 9.
