ANKARA - An official welcoming ceremony took place at the Turkish Prime Ministry Office on Wednesday in honor of Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen of Finland, which will take over rotating presidency of the EU in June.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Finnish counterpart Vanhanen are expected to hold a news conference after their scheduled meeting.
Prime Minister Vanhanen will partake in a luncheon to be hosted by the Union of Turkish Chambers & Commodity Exchanges (TOBB)
He will be received by Turkish President Ahmet Necdet Sezer and Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc later in the day.
