MURADIYE - Security forces impounded 46 kg of heroin in Muradiye town of the eastern city of Van on Wednesday.
Acting on a tip-off, security forces stopped and searched an automobile.
During the search, they seized 46 kg of heroin hidden in secret parts of the vehicle.
A person was detained.
A full investigation into illicit drug trafficking is under way.
