ADANA - The 13th Golden Cocoon Film Festival will be held in the southern city of Adana from June 5th to 11th.
Holding a news conference, Adana Mayor Aytac Durak said on Tuesday that they allocated a budget of 1.6 million USD for this year's festival.
A total of 14 long-feature films will compete in this year's festival.
Atif Yilmaz, prominent film director who passed away a few days ago, actress Fatma Girik, scriptwriter Safa Onal and actor Sener Sen will be presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
A special program will be held in the memory of Atif Yilmaz. His three films will be shown during the festival.
