ANKARA - A summit meeting will be held on Tueasday to discuss sending Turkish soldiers to Iraq.
President Ahmet Necdet Sezer will chair the meeting in which Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Chief of General Staff Hilmi Ozkok, Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul and National Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul will attend.
The meeting that will be held at Cankaya Presidential Palace will start at noon on Tuesday.
National Intelligence Organization (MIT) Undersecretary Senkal Atasagun and Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Ugur Ziyal are also expected to participate in the meeting.
Council of Ministers will convene under the chairmanship of Erdogan following the summit meeting.
