Number Of Tourist Visiting Antalya Increases 25 Percent

ANTALYA - The number of tourists who visited southern Antalya province by airways between August 1 and 10, 2003 increases 25 percent when compared with the same period of last year.
According to figures of Antalya Airport, a total of 316 thousand 993 tourists visited Antalya between August 1 and 10, 2003 with a 25 percent increase, when compared with the same period of last year.
The 25 percent decrease in the number of tourists visiting Antalya especially in March, April and May, started to fall with the increase in August.
A total of two million 613 thousand 250 tourists visited Antalya between January 1 and August 10 in 2003, while this number was two million 822 thousand 59 in the same period of last year.
