CANAKKALE - 12 illegal migrants from Mauritania have been arrested in western city of Canakkale's Ayvacik town today.
A boat carrying the 12 migrants was reported to Turkish Coast Guard by Turkish fishermen.
Upon hearing about the migrants, Turkish Coast Guard forced the boat to Behramkale region where they were arrested.
The 12 illegal migrants will be deported following official procedures in Canakkale.
