ANKARA - Turkish Central Bank said on Monday that it has suspended foreign exchange buying auctions.
Releasing a statement, the Central Bank said, ''linked to a reduction in foreign currency supply, which stemmed from global liquidity conditions, there has been a reduction in the depth of the foreign currency market and fluctuations in rates. Therefore from May 16 onwards, foreign currency buying auctions have been suspended.''
