BALI ISLAND - Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan has arrived in Indonesia's Bali Island today to attend the 5th Summit of the ''Developing 8''.
The summit of the ''Developing 8'' officially began on Saturday.
Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono delivered the opening remarks at the summit organized at the Bali International Congress Center.
Yudhoyono began his speech with a prayer and talked about relations among the D-8 nations.
Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadi-Najad took the floor for a speech after Yudhoyono.
Following the speeches, Iran transferred the term presidency to Indonesia.
Later, the leaders visited the D-8 Trade Fair.
Security in Bali Island is very tight against possible terrorist attacks.
