Five Die In Mine Explosion In Erzurum

ASKALE/ERZURUM - Five people died in a mine explosion at Kurkutlu mine in Askale township of eastern province of Erzurum on Friday.
Efforts continue to rescue two others who were trapped inside the mine.
Askale local governor Mustafa Ozsoy said that efforts were continuing to rescue two workers who were trapped after the explosion and added that it could take two or three days to reach the two workers.
A total of 24 workers were injured in the explosion at the Kurkutlu mine.
