Automotive Sector Makes 61.3 Percent Of Its Exports To 15 E.U. Members

BURSA - Automotive sector made 61.3 percent of its exports, which was made to 159 countries in the first seven months, to the European Union (EU) member 15 countries between January and July 2003.
Uludag Exporters' Associations told the A.A correspondent on Saturday that automotive sector exported its products to 159 countries and autonomous regions and 13 free zones between January and July 2003.
A total of 2 billion 458 million 561 thousand U.S. dollars part of the 4 billion 7 million 621 thousand U.S. dollars automotive exports was gained from the EU market.
The sector exported its products to Germany, Italy, France, Britain, Spain, Belgium, Ireland, the Netherlands, Austria, Sweden, Greece, Finland, Denmark, Portugal and Luxembourg.
