VIENNA - Heads of government and state who will join the EU-Latin America summit to be hosted by EU rotating president Austria, attended a dinner on Thursday hosted at Vienna`s historic Hofburg Palace.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan attended the dinner with his wife Emine Erdogan.
Erdogan met Greek Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyannis at the hotel before attending the dinner. Erdogan and Bakoyannis chatted for a while.
The dinner, hosted by Austrian Chancellor Wolfgang Schuessel in honor of heads of government and state of 25 EU member countries, candidate countries and Latin American countries was closed to the press.
Although it was not formally confirmed, it was reported that Erdogan could meet French President Jacques Chirac and leaders of some EU member countries at the dinner.
