ISTANBUL - ``Three assailants hurled hand grenade at Sisli office of Cumhuriyet newspaper according to camera shootings,`` Istanbul Police Chief Celalettin Cerrah said on Thursday.
Cerrah said bombs that had earlier been hurled to office of the newspaper did not explode in the previous two attacks, noting that the hand grenade that was tossed today to the office exploded.
Cerrah said there were no casualties but financial damage, noting that the assailants managed to flee from the police officers.
``Security measures in the office will be increased,`` he added.
Unidentified persons hurled hand grenades at Cumhuriyet newspaper HQ in Istanbul yesterday and on May 5th.
