ANKARA - Banks' credit volume increased 1 quadrillion 431.8 trillion Turkish liras (TL) to 46 quadrillion 879.2 trillion TL between July 18-25, 2003.
The total credit volume at banks was 45 quadrillion 447.4 trillion TL on July 18.
The credits given to financial sector were composed of 797.2 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 1 quadrillion 623.1 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
The credits given to non-financial sector were composed of 193.9 trillion TL of loans given by Central Bank, 39 quadrillion 947.7 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 4 quadrillion 317.4 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
