ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan received European Commission Vice President Siim Kallas on Tuesday.
Turkish State Minister Besir Atalay as well as Hans Jorg Kretschmer, the representative for the EU Commission to Turkey, also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Erdogan stressed that the Turkish government was determined to maintain reform process and to put an end to corruption.
Erdogan informed Kallas on the 9th reform package, which is expected to be brought onto parliamentary agenda in the coming days.
Kallas who is currently in Turkey on the occasion of Europe Day also met Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul.
