ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has indicated, ''also Iran has the right to have nuclear energy for peaceful objectives so does every country.''
Erdogan had a meeting with Iran's national security chief Ali Larijani in Ankara on Monday.
Sources quoted Erdogan as telling Larijani that ''also Iran has the right to have nuclear energy for peaceful objectives so does every country. But it should be transparent. The problem should be solved through diplomatic means. There should be a transparent cooperation to eliminate concerns of international community.''
On the other hand, Larijani told Erdogan that Iran was in favor of diplomatic resolution, noting that his country wanted to have nuclear energy for peaceful objectives. He added that they were exerting efforts for being transparent.
