LEFKOSA - Turkey-Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Partnership Council will be held on August 8.
The second of technical meetings which are a preparation for Friday's meeting started in Girne on Tuesday.
The technical committees will take up urgent economic measures.
Turkish delegation is headed by State Planning Organization Deputy Undersecretary Halil Ibrahim Akca in the technical meetings.
The preparatory work will also continue on Wednesday.
Economic, commercial, social issues and investments will be taken up on Thursday.
Turkey-TRNC Partnership Council scheduled for Friday will be presided by State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullatif Sener and TRNC State Minister for Tourism and Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Denktas.
All dimensions of political and economic relations between TRNC and Turkey will be debated in Friday's meeting.
The council is expected to work on a draft on a possible customs union to be formed between the two countries.
Besides State Minister Sener, State Ministers Ali Babacan and Kursad Tuzmen and Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan will participate in the meeting.
The Partnership Council which was established between two countries in 1997 convenes once in every six months and is comprised of five ministers from each country.
