IGDIR/AGRI - Turkish gendarmery arrested 39 illegal migrants in eastern cities of Igdir and Agri, sources said on Friday.
Sources told A.A correspondent that 36 of the illegal migrants were detained in Igdir, while three in Agri.
According to sources, the illegal migrants were of Iranian, Bangladeshi and Pakistani origin.
Seven Turks were taken into custody on charges of human trafficking.
The illegal migrants will be deported once legal proceedings are completed.
