SIRNAK - Workers in south-eastern city of Sirnak's Silopi town have captured a giant lizard, that is 104 centimeters long, during a routine excavation.
The lizard's backbone is broken and it will be sent to Izmir's 9 Eylul University for medical treatment.
Silopi's lizard will be released to its natural environment, once its treatment has been successfully completed.
