ANKARA - European Commission Vice President Siim Kallas will have talks in Ankara between May 8th and 9th, the Delegation of the European Commission to Turkey announced on Friday.
According to a statement by this office, Kallas, the Commissioner responsible for Administrative Affairs, Audit and Anti-Fraud, will meet Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan, FM Abdullah Gul, State Minister Besir Atalay and State Minister and chief negotiator Ali Babacan during his stay in Turkey.
Kallas is expected to debate Turkey`s preparations for the EU, administrative and judicial reforms, its fight against fraud and corruption, and financial audit in his meetings with Turkish executives.
Kallas` visit aims to show the support the Commission extends to Turkey, added the Delegation of the European Commission to Turkey.
