ANKARA - Turkish State Minister & Deputy PM Abdullatif Sener said that he has no intention to run for presidency.
When reporters asked why the government gave up tax reduction in mortgage system (during debates on House Financing draft law), Sener said, ''there should be a (tax) reduction in principle. But we have decided to postpone it until the beginning of 2008 because we want to examine the balances in budget financing and see the results of implementation of the mortgage system.''
When a reporter said that his recent statements were assessed as preparation to Presidential election, and asked whether he will run for presidency, Sener said that he does not have such an intention, adding that he rather wants to fulfill his current mission in the best way.
