VIENNA - ''Turkey deserves to be a full member (of the EU). We share European values,'' said Turkish State Minister Mehmet Aydin on Thursday.
Aydin delivered a speech in a panel discussion on ''Turkey-EU Relations'' in Vienna, Austria organized jointly by Austrian Institute for international Affairs (OIIP) and Turkish Economic and Social Studies Foundation (TESEV).
Informing participants on economic developments and reform process in Turkey, Aydin noted, ''after differences between Turkey and the EU are smoothed away, EU should fulfill its commitments (regarding Turkey's EU accession process).''
Aydin stressed that a Turkey which solved all problems would bring several advantages to the EU.
State Minister Aydin will leave Austria for Turkey today.
