THESSALONICA - Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan who is actually in Thessalonica, met Macedonian President Branko Crvenkovski, Albanian PM Sali Berisha, and Moldovan PM Vasile Tarlev on Thursday.
The leaders are participating in the 9th Heads of State & Government Summit of the South East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) in Greek city of Thessalonica.
The meetings were closed to the press.
Earlier today, Erdogan met his Greek counterpart Costas Caramanlis. Both leaders qualified Turkish-Greek cooperation in economy and energy as ''strategic partnership'', and agreed to enhance this partnership.
-CARAMANLIS' PRESS CONFERENCE-
Meanwhile, holding a press conference at the end of the summit, Caramanlis said that Athens' strategic target is to improve Turkish-Greek relations.
''Greece supports Turkey's EU membership, but Turkey has to fulfil some requirements,'' he noted.
Caramanlis added that participants of the summit decided to cooperate against violence, terrorism and organized crime.
